In its first phase since its launch on 22nd July 2024, we are growing fresh tomatoes in a sequence that allows us to harvest every month throughout the year. Tomatoes take an average of 4 months to grow but to harvest takes an extra 2 months as the fruits ripen at different intervals.

Under the brand “KILOs” we do buy grain from farmers during harvest periods after which we add value through machine drying & packaging then we redistribute to bigger markets at a profit. There are 2 harvest periods in Uganda i.e. December-February and May-July.
